Is collecting things im attracted to weird?

-Like an unusual coloured leaf or a bird feather, patterned stones and colourful things. I once saw a brown pebble with irredescent gold reflection and I wanted to keep it with me always. I'm the artist type if it means anythingI think this is a completely charming quirk. You never know what is going to inspire you. I like to keep things that capture my interest, and if it makes me seem like a packrat, that's absolutely ok. I think you're 100% fine :)
It is most certainly not weird! It's part of being creative: you notice interesting things. Your description fits very well with what can be called the "artist's eye." So just keep doing what you're doing.
No, it doesn't. Alot of artists collect things from nature to get ideas and create a more lifelike scene.
