Can someone give me advice about cameras?

-I would like to buy a good quality professional camera to take artistic photos for art and things like that. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a camera but i would pay for good quality. I don't want to buy a camera that you have to buy all the different lenses for it, i would just like something easy to use that takes professional photos. i would like it to have good focus, zoom, and quite a fast shutter speed. Other than that i don't have much knowledge on cameras and i would really appreciate it if you could recommend so cameras to me. Thank you xxThere are three classes of consumer digital camera. The Compact, bridge and digital SLR. The slr is the most advanced and offers the best quality and performance. However, many many people see that claim and prematurely buy the most expensive modle they can find, only to be dissapointed when they realize there is a relativly expansive knowledge base required to operate a digital SLR camera.

The common camera you see are of the compact variety. These offer conveniance in everyway. They are offten refered to as "point and shoot" cameras because that is the utility they offer. They permitt the user to simply aim and fire with no other complications.

A bridge camera is a mix between the two. They offer control over exsposure, advanced features and highER picture quality along with a small biuld and user friendly operation. This is the one I sugest would be best for you.

Features such as zoom, focus and shutter speed are more complicated issues that no camera itself can offer any gaurentees on. That said, most bridge cameras are biult with your requests in mind and should offer functionality to your liking.

modles of bridge cameras are the Fuji S cameras and Nikon P cameras such as the S1500 and P100.
