-I can't remember if I can do this or not. I have measurements in feet and inches, but to draw it on AutoCAD I want to to be scaled down to something like 1/8"=1'-0". So if I have a measurement of 24'-2" I don't want to see a line that goes off the page but scaled down. I took a basic drafting class a while back but I can't remember if what I want to do is possible. Any help?24'-2" of line when plotted to your given scale is only about 3'' on paper. You can test print it in MODEL space by directly selecting 1/8" = 1'-0" from the scale list in Plot Scale group, Page Setup dialog. Just make sure "inches" is selected. The plot computation is as follows:
24'-2" = 290" ; the scale 1/8" = 12"
so, 290 梅 12 脳 1/8 = 3.02" plotted length. Check it with a ruler.
